Human Resources Manager circa £50,000 + bonus + benefits

Based: South Wales

The Human Resources ( HR ) Manager will develop, implement and deliver Human Resources support to the organisation, in the UK and internationally, in line with the company's overall strategic business plan. He/she will ensure policies and procedures are relevant to operational business objectives and constantly improved to ensure compliance and support HR to provide a full value-added service. The HR Manager will manage a small team of Business Advisers and ensure effective stakeholder engagement in all HR generalist and/or specialist areas e.g. Recruitment, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Employment Legislation, Reward and Benefits, Training and Development etc.

Our blue chip client is part of a large international corporation and a major player in its market sector offering a range of engineering and technology systems and solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong generalist HR background with a broad business focus and experience of people management in medium or large sized organisations. Quantifiable experience of international HR, supporting business in EMEA andIndiawould be very desirable. A strong working knowledge of employee relations, employment legislation, reward / remuneration, performance management and the provision of HR consultancy to business teams is also required. The successful candidate will have a professional qualification (e.g. CIPD ), excellent communication skills, IT literacy and the ability to lead and work with teams.

The role demands first class customer service skills, strategic and operational awareness and the ability to perform well under pressure.
