Your new companyA small company with a customer network of large blue chip companies and an internal culture of a place where grown-ups come to work with a very flat structure working alongside like-minded peers at the top of their field. Your new roleAs Human Resources Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of HR within the company. You will be part of the leadership team meetings and valued to support the overall business strategy. As with any generalist role there is always a heavy emphasis on a particular part of HR and in this case it is recruitment. This person will have overall management of all recruitment channels including external partnership relationships, budget ownership and be able to pro-actively head hunt key appointments from tools such as Linked in. Other areas of the role include: involvement in the development of the employee offering, what it means to work in the company to potential hires and working with the wider business on the business branding. ER casework will be low in volume but high in complexity so will require someone that has dealt with senior-level casework. You will also be developing a small HR team on site. What you'll need to succeedThis role will require UK wide travel to carry out face to face meetings with operational staff and being involved in final stage interviews for key hires so expect a day a week away from the office. You will be expected to have be MCIPD as a minimum and have an in depth understanding of the latest UK employment legislation. You will have a strong emphasis on recruitment within past generalist roles and also have come from a professional services background.
