Human Resources Manager 
Fixed Term/Secondment until 31 March 2013

All posts are restricted to employees at risk of redundancy within the NHS Humber Cluster in the first instance, in accordance with the internal process for filling posts within a new structure. Where the post is not appointed to following this internal process, in line with the regional clearing house arrangements (September 2010) applications will then be considered from; employees at risk of organisational change; employees affected by change, staff at risk within NHS Yorkshire and the Humber Cluster. We are seeking 2 experienced Human Resources Managers to support the NHS Humber Cluster Primary Care Trusts and Care Trust Plus in managing the transition from current NHS arrangements to the new NHS architecture as required under the proposed Health and Social Care Bill.

Working to the Senior HR Manager, you will work closely with senior managers, managers and HR Leads to ensure that the HR transition action plans are delivered to challenging timescales. You will support the organisational change programme and manage workforce issues, including staff consultation, redeployment processes and effective transfer of staff under TUPE/COSOP arrangements to new organisations. This will require working in partnership with HR Leads, fellow HR professionals and Trade Union Representatives across the Cluster in supporting these processes. 

You will need to be CIPD qualified and have at least 2 years experience of working at an HR Manager/Advisor level in a busy HR department preferably in a complex organisation. You will have experience of dealing with complex employee relations issues and of implementing and embedding successful change programmes including staff consultation and TUPE transfers. You will work well under pressure, have excellent communication and analytical skills and maintain strong working relationships. Previous NHS experience would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified.
