Description

Job purpose: To provide full UK corporate immigration case management and to lead and develop a team of designated Immigration Consultants. This role requires extensive knowledge of UK immigration Tier 1 - 4 applications and in particular a thorough understanding of Tier 2.

Principal Casework Duties & Responsibilities

  • providing expert UK immigration advice and efficient case management;
  • presenting a personalised response through analysis of each case and delivery of a strategic legal assessment detailing all available options to the client, and working directly with all necessary parties related to the case to determine the next course of action for the immigration process in question;
  • ensuring that each immigration application is handled expediently, accurately, in compliance with UK immigration law and consistent with the Company's global standards;
  • undertaking effective VisION and hard file management (ensuring cases are fully updated and complete and that all fees are correctly accounted for);
 delivering in-house legal up-dates and preparing client/website alerts to communicate immigration changes.

Principal Client Service Duties & Responsibilities (for both internal and external clients):

  • developing strong service relationship with clients upon contact;
  • proactively marketing the Company's services at client meetings and client functions;
  • establishing relationships with key Company personnel worldwide;
  • communicating closely with the Company management team;
 becoming an active member of ILPA and its sub-committees.

Principal Supervisory Duties & Responsibilities:

  • training and developing a designated team of consultants;
  • supervising case management of designated team of consultants;
  • responding to adhoc queries from colleagues and clients;
  • reviewing closed cases for designated team of consultants including identifying and rectifying any issues;
  • carrying out quality control of immigration advice documents, submission and go home correspondence;
  • suggesting/instigating general process enhancements;
  • providing billing assistance, if/when required;
  • managing UK Practice in absence of Practice Manager.
