Our client, an award winning creative and successful Media Brand, is look to hire a Interim Head of People Team, 6 - 9 month FTC, to join their London office. This organisation is a very forward thinking, effective and innovative leading Global Media Brand, who place significant emphasis on selecting and retaining its high quality staff. The Head of People Team will be primarily responsible for strategic leadership and implementation of all Human Resources functions and activities including attracting, retaining and motivating talent.

This role will require the Interim Head of People Team to establish and develop initiatives/ projects for the organisation. Reporting to the Managing Director and UK Group HR Director, this position will work closely with and alongside senior level management executives, with direct reporting of an HR Manager.

The successful candidate will be technically competent in all aspects of Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession management planning, Employee Law compliance, practices and policies. Moreover, the Head of People Team will be a collaborative team player, ability to work within a fast paced environment and possess strong hands-on HR Operational experience. Exposure and excellent TUPE experience, contract negotiation, development and implementation for key hires will be key aspects of the role, including being familiar with best practice redundancy processes.

Professionally HR qualified, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, the Interim Head of People Team will deal with difficult issues with sensitivity and possess a high emotional intelligence. Familiarity with redundancy and severance processes and conducting career planning for all employees will be paramount.
