If you can answer "yes" to these questions then please read on as you might be the very person I'm looking for. I am working in partnership with a superb organisation in the West Midlands who provide support and care for children with learning difficulties. A new internal Recruitment officer role has been created which will drive all recruitment activities and look to reduce cost and dependency on agency use. You will be strategic in your thinking, with an ability to write and implement creative resourcing strategies, whilst also enjoying the operational requirement of "getting your hands dirty" and delivering a pipeline of high volume and specialist skilled applicants. Whilst principally office-based you will also be required to attend recruitment fairs, university careers events, and other suitable functions in order to raise the profile of the brand and engage with suitable talent. You will work with stakeholders and hiring managers across the whole organisation to support recruitment for a range of roles, having ownership of the recruitment process from start to end. Sitting within the wider HR team, support will be provided from the HR Administrator which will allow the Recruitment officer to focus on what they do best... recruit! This is a part-time role of circa 24 hours per week, which equates to 3 full days. Flexibility on days/times can be discussed however attendance on a Monday is fixed. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has recruitment experience within the social care, healthcare or education sectors, and is looking for a part-time role. The pro rata salary is 13-15k (22-25k full time equivalent) and the company provide 33 days annual leave (pro-rated to 20) including bank holidays, free lunches during working hours, stakeholder pension scheme, access to our discounted Health Cash Plan and Employee Assistance Programmes, and free car parking.
