The Background:

Global in-house organisation is actively seeking an International Assignments Advisor to join their global mobility team. Working in industry the successful candidate will predominantly deal with assignees travelling in and out of EMEA. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on mobility policy, trends and best practices in order to ensure that mobility programmes are in line with business strategy.


The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full assignment process from start to finish including:

Partners with business HR teams in order to advise and support the client business goals.

Interaction with Client Senior Line Managers and other HR colleagues regarding all prospective assignments and transfers this includes proving guidance around the appropriate package, producing a cost estimate and liaising with the Swindon team.

Work closely with the Client US and regional Global Mobility teams to ensure consistency, equity and best practices around the world.

Ensure close collaboration with other HR specialist functions in order to ensure that the requirements of Client's mobile population are being met.

Advise and assist Client EMEA country coordinators in managing mobility across the region.

Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are being met.

Data maintenance and management of mobile population

Contribution to regular reporting metrics.

Ad hoc projects as required


The Person:

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a similar: global mobility, international assignments or expatriate management role. Applicants will have a good knowledge of relocation issues and/or expatriate compensation methods
