The Background:

Reporting to the International Assignments Manager this global services organisation is actively seeking an addition to their IA Team. The role of International Assignments Consultant will be responsible for the provision of all expatriate assignee needs from start to finish.


The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

End-to-end assignment management from the initial assignee briefing to the final debrief

Provide advice regarding global mobility issues including basic compensation and tax advice

Additional ad hoc project management as directed by the Global Mobility Manager

Consult on correct visa/work permit applications.

Prepare assignment cost projections

Maintain and develop relationships within the business and external service providers


The Person:

The successful candidate will have previous experience of: international assignments, expatriate management or global mobility issues. Applicants will have an excellent understanding of assignment life cycle and the associated issues from start to finish. Applicants with any additional knowledge of expatriate compensation, payroll or taxation methodologies would be desirable.
