The Background:

Working as a Global Mobility Assistant Manager you will be responsible for arranging cross border travel ensuring all tax and immigration implications are identified and managed. Candidates should have excellent relationship and network building skills and the ability to relate complex information.


The Role:

The Global Mobility Team Assistant Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

Key point of contact for customers planning cross border travel and events

Review and assess case information to determine action reguired and gain agreement on proposed approach from Senior Manager

Coordinate, schedule and document all activity with support from the Contact Centre keeping customer and stakeholder regularly informed

Reach out to colleagues across organization (e.g., global network of tax, policy and immigration specialists for input and advice as required and become key point of contact until outstanding queries are resolved

Support Senior Manager in provision of clear brief to customer addressing their tax and immigration requirements and required actions

Maintain and leverage a knowledge repository to continuously improve customer support and service

Develop mobility knowledge with view to progressing to Senior Manager

Use lnmigration and tax knowledge to identify cross border traveller requirements

Review customer's long term travel situation or engagement to identify multiple trip implications

Probe/ask leading questions to understand the situation fully and provide the appropriate guidance


The Person:

The successful candidate will have previous experience dealing with: international assignment, global mobility or expatriate management issues. Applicants will have a proven background in managing a successful team dealing with international mobility and the associated issues. The successful candidate will be organised, have good people skills and be able to work to tight deadlines.
