The Background:
This leading global services organisation is actively seeking a Global Mobility Consultant to join their IA Team. The successful candidate will coordinate the end-to-end global assignment process liaising with the relevant international mobility teams.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
When the manager is out of the office and not on line to play a strong role with overseeing the day to day running of the team, providing support, coaching and direction to team members acting as a 'Mentor'.
You will be responsible on a day-to-day basis for leading and motivating the client's mobility team to ensure a high standard of service delivery for our clients and Assignees
To keep a calm level headed approach to requests and questions from team members/other offices. Ensuring escalations received are managed in the absence of the manager
Delegate and ensure all new cases/starts that come into the team are distributed fairly and all Mobility Consultants are carrying fair caseload
Ensure any billing /invoice spreadsheets that are received are reviewed and responded to within the same working day
Liaise with Team Leader/ Account Manager on operational issues, keep a record of caseloads.
Main point of contact for relocating employee and family. Conduct needs assessment and brief them on all service provisions, initiate the relocation process and all services in line with the corporate client policy.
Manage the delivery of all services in line with the client of company processes to ensure satisfactory experience. Solve issues as they arise
Manage the relationship with service partners instructed and ensure value for money services.
Day to day point of contact for clients to keep them advised of the progress of the assignments, discuss exceptions, and recommend process or policy change in consultation with the manager where appropriate.
Counsel on Policies and relate them to operational procedures.
Provide on-going support and advice on policy and process to the employee through the assignment/relocation.
Accurately maintain all files and databases.
Process invoices accurately and ensures job costing is completed correctly and within the timescales set. Collate all necessary information from clients to enable invoice accuracy.
Show exceptional customer service and obtain customer feedback, record this on caseload reports and facilitate central compilation.
Assist with compilation, analysis and interpretation of data to produce Client reports. Track cost savings and complete the value added database.
Participate in client review meetings as required.
Research company specific information to assist assignees and also clients to develop policy and drive cost savings.
Build strong relationships with other departments and branches to enable all opportunities to be explored, cross selling opportunities identified with clients and full services delivered.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have previous experience of: international assignments, expatriate management or global mobility issues. Applicants will have an excellent understanding of assignment life cycle and the associated issues from start to finish. Applicants with any additional knowledge of expatriate compensation, payroll or taxation methodologies would be desirable. Applicants must have proven people management experience with the ability to manage performance, coach & mentor others.
