The Background:
This global award-winning organisation is actively seeking an addition to their in-house International Mobility Team. Reporting directly to the Global Mobility Manager you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient, compliant and swift individual assignment management for employees globally.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to the following:
Outbound support:
Prepare letters of assignment for review and issue with orientation information
Co-ordination of relocation services such as shipping, home search, interim living (as necessary)
Initiation of tax and social security services
Enroll in Health and welfare plans e.g. BUPA international and removal on assignment termination
Maintenance of databases including the updating of MIA and PeopleSoft
Follow up with key stakeholders for outstanding documentation to ensure assignments are compliant
Obtain charge code information, update in MIA and issue cost estimates to Finance
Process assignment invoices and one-time payments through Basware
Electronic and hard copy file creation and maintenance
Initiate repatriation processes with six week check
Reporting
Inbound support:
Prepare letters of assignment for review and issue with welcome pack and joining information
Provide support for inbound assignees with:
Right to Work / WRS / CoS and Visa applications
Facilitate UK expat banking
Arrange interim living and airport transfers
Engage Destination Services Providers as required
UK inductions (corporate, international & IT)
Tax arrival meeting
UK NI number fast track processes
Maintenance of databases including the updating of MIA, PeopleSoft, hire trackers and GBIT
Follow up with key stakeholders for outstanding documentation to ensure assignments are compliant
Obtain charge code information, update in MIA and issue cost estimates to Finance
Process assignment invoices through Basware
Electronic and hard copy file creation and maintenance
Initiate repatriation processes with six week check
Reporting
The Person:
The successful candidate will have previous experience of: international assignments, expatriate management, global mobility or international HR administration. Applicants will have a basic understanding of the assignment life cycle and the associated issues from start to finish. Applicants with any additional knowledge of expatriate compensation, payroll or taxation methodologies would be desirable.
