Are you an enthusiastic and confident HR shared service team leader with solid experience of working in a client facing role? Do you have a strong knowledge of payroll and benefits administration and excellent people management skills? Our client is a leading name in internationally broadcasting based in West London with a brilliant HR reputation and an important place in the media industry. They are looking for a team leader to manage the day-to-day operations of the shared service function and to provide line management to the team. Working as part of the wider HR team, the shared service provides transactional HR support to the whole UK based organization and includes team members specializing in payroll, systems, onboarding, recruitment and projects. Playing an integral part in the operational success of the department, they are in need of an experienced team leader to guide and manage the team in both day-to-day and longer term activities. The Shared Services Team Leader will ensure the delivery of a high-quality HR transactional and administrative output, provide supervision and mentoring to team members, implement and uphold a highly confidential HR service, provide solutions and resolve issues to HR queries, oversee all payroll activities including processing and reporting, maintain in house systems to support HR/Payroll/C&Bs and provide cover in the absence of the Shared Services Manager. We are looking for candidates with solid experience of team leadership and payroll as well as first-class client service skills and a natural passion for HR. Candidates should be organized, methodical and numerate with strong communication skills and broad exposure to working in a shared service environment. Previous experience using ADP Freedom and SAP is highly desirable and solid UK based experience is essential.
