The Background:

Reporting to the Client Services Director this leading services firm is actively seeking an addition to their International Assignments Team. The role of Client Services Manager will be responsible for the provision of all expatriate assignee needs from start to finish acting as a first point of contact for other team members as necessary.


The Role:

Ensures that premier service philosophy is adhered to in all dealings with clients and assignees and that premier service levels are achieved

Builds productive and effective relationships with clients, assignees and suppliers

Manages all aspects of the day to day activities of the team including coaching and training

Monitors staff performance continuously and at a minimum formally appraises staff annually

As required manage caseload of high level client employees (VIPs)

Continually assesses opportunities to expand client relationship, improve team performance and internal processes with Director

Monitors and manages the effective service delivery of third party vendors

Maintains data integrity, and ensures the timely production of effective and valid data for client and internal use

Prepares for and contributes to regular client review meeting

Participates as appropriate in special projects (for example, RFPs; improving ability to compete in the marketplace; developing new service offerings, improving efficiency, etc)

Works with the Implementation team during implementation of new accounts ensuring that communication bridges, policies and procedures and processes are in place

Undertakes other tasks and special projects as required


The Person:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Strong experience in global mobility or relocation services

Ability to manage multiple client relationships

Ability to delegate work to staff and ensure its' quality and timely completion

Additional language capabilities advantageous

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong managerial skills and excellent customer service

Ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels within the organization

Effective decision-making, conflict management and problem resolution

Ability to handle stress and maintain a professional demeanour
