The Background:

An excellent in-house opportunity has just arisen within this brand new Global Mobility department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of experienced Consultants in order to provide the highest levels of service both operationally and strategically to their internal assignee workforce.


The Role:

The responsibilities of a Global Mobility Manager include but are not limited to the following:

Design and implement competitive and cost effective mobility programmes for each business, engaging internal and external business partners.

Pro-actively evaluate and identify opportunities for programme enhancements.

Support other Managers in the review of HR policies and procedures.

Operational Delivery:

Lead the daily operations of the team; providing ongoing supervision of activities related to assignee management, acting as point of escalation for issue resolution, mobility subject matter expert, in-charge of customer service assurance and intervention.

Work with other Managers to monitor the outcome of challenges encountered with service providers and facilitate resolutions where necessary.

Ensure assignee challenges and concerns are resolved through the utilisation of correct protocols.

Assist in audit compliance exercises; maintain data integrity and reporting as per audit requirements.

Customer Relations:

Promote and enhance services to the businesses through creating value and delivering exceptional service.

Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders management, in-country HR representatives and assignees, providing the highest level of customer service.

Team Management:

Supervise daily activities of team members, including managing and monitoring of workload and service delivery, training and developing for growth, and providing feedback and coaching where relevant.

In consultation with the Mobility Manager, set and appraise performance targets and objectives for team members.

Other:

Participate in and lead the training and development of the rest of the team

Provide regular updates on information of current market trends and industry legislation.

Undertakes other special projects and tasks as assigned.


The Person:

The successful candidate must have previous experience working within the field of international assignments, either global mobility or expatriate management. You will be well organised, a strong communicator and have good relationship building skills. The successful applicant must have previous people management experience.
