The Background
Due to sustained growth this leading organisation is actively seeking a Manager within their International Social Security Team. Previously this organisation has experienced a lot of success with candidates from the international mobility sector and would be keen to learn more of candidates looking to make the move from global mobility into a specific ISS management role.
The Role
The key responsibilities for the Manager are to coordinate and manage International Social Security service delivery to a number of multinational clients.
The Manager will have day-to-day responsibility in ensuring delivery of ``Core`` Global ISS services (outlined below) as part of a Global account service team on each client.
Responsibilities will centre on being the main point of contact for our Global clients.
The post holder will have direct contact with the corporate client via e-mail and telephone and, where relevant, the assignees and their families.
In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to carry out sales and marketing initiatives; provide Social Security/Benefits/Healthcare advice to clients, liaise with Government departments in both the UK and internationally, draft correspondence to clients and take on ad hoc projects.
The core services provided by the team include:
Compliance:
Obtaining A1/E101/certificates of coverage to confirm where social security liabilities arise to ensure compliance with the appropriate legislation
Advising on social security liabilities on all elements of a compensation package including securities, bonuses and other employment ``incentives``
Assistance in dealing with investigations/reviews from social security administrations throughout the world
Assistance regarding individual`s state benefit eligibility including state retirement pension, health care and child benefit
Cost minimisation:
Planning for assignments all around the globe to ensure cost effective reduction/management of employer social security liabilities
Compensation planning to reduce gross payments liable to social security and, therefore, the overall cost of any international move
The Person:
You will have extremely strong coordination skills, be meticulous in detail, self-motivated with strong influencing and problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task. Ability to work in small teams as well as actively able to contribute to the overall larger Group is essential. Your ability to deliver accurately to tight deadlines will be a result of your excellent organizational and project management skills.
This busy, client service focused group have high levels of contact with corporate clients, assignees and internal contacts at all levels and therefore requires the post holder to be well presented, customer service/team oriented with exceptional communication skills both written, spoken and listening.
