L & D Advisor - Cardiff £35- £40k

A leading law firm, with offices in Cardiff, is currently looking to recruit a Learning and Development Adviser to join their team on a permanent basis.

As an integral part of the L & D team, you will work closely with HR colleagues, practice groups and business service teams to make sure that the Learning & development strategy (at both an organisational and personal level) meets the current and future needs of the business.

More than just a trainer, you will act as an L & D Consultant and will manage a wide range of learning and development projects which will include;

  • Design of learning programmes for defined groups/audiences
  • Identify and select appropriate external partners for expert level training, and develop learning programmes with those suppliers
  • Provide personal development planning advice and solutions to individuals and teams
  • Implement internal publicity/communications campaigns for L&D initiatives

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced L&D professional (experience in a law firm is highly desirable or a professional services background) with a proven track record in understanding, designing and tailoring development solutions for the different stages of a professional career path.

Educated to degree level (or equivalent).

You will be able to manage multiple projects and priorities, with good attention to detail and the ability to create compelling learning solutions. A Strong client focus is needed along with the motivation to provide excellent advice and deliver results.
