Learning & Development Consultant Leadership & Management Development, Brighton, East Sussex.

My well known and international client based in central Brighton is currently recruiting for a Learning and Development Consultant with a key focus on Leadership and Management Development, to join their well established team for a 9 month contract, to cover a period of secondment which may then go permanent.

This role has responsibility for identification, design and delivery of professional Leadership & Management development interventions to meet the growing Leadership & Management development needs of the organisation. A key focus of the role is relationship management of the internal customers, understanding current needs and identifying future trends.

Main accountabilities will include:

  • Champion the implementation of Leadership & Management development and the creation of a learning culture within the organisation
  • Work with the L&M manager for effective planning and analysis to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Lead by example to role model leadership behaviours (LCF), and act as change agent, demonstrating change behaviours such as; flexibility, adaptability, responsiveness.
  • Manage and review the design and delivery of learning interventions to support all Leadership & Management development requirements.
  • Take lead in managing bespoke L&M activity ensuring key deliverables achieved through the L&M and bespoke offerings
  • Provide coaching in line with the L&D and talent agenda
  • Act as mentor and coach for other team members
  • Account Manage key stakeholders and internal customers to ensure solutions meet/ exceed customer expectation.
  • Ensure all L&M solutions are designed and delivered in accordance with FSA, Treating Customers Fairly and all other regulatory frameworks (where applicable).
  • Ensure all design and delivery interventions are achieved in line with agreed budgets including all training expenditure.
  • Cover all areas of the L&D offering as required.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of working in a Learning and Development arena, and most recently in a Leadership and Management Development environment. A CTP (Certificate of Training Practice) qualification or equivalent is highly desirable, but key strengths in design, delivery and coaching is a must.
