Our client is an award winning media communications agency based in fabulous Central London offices who take their people development very seriously. Working as part of the wider HR function, the learning and development (L&D) team ensure that all employees are provided with first class training and opportunities to learn. The L&D Coordinator supports the L&D Manager with all administration as well as providing assistance during training workshops. The L&D Coordinator looks after the full cycle of L&D administration which includes liaising with employees and external providers, coordinating training sessions, collating and reporting on feedback, managing and collecting training requests across the business, scheduling training and monitoring all L&D initiatives and looking after finance administration for training. In addition, this person will design and run training, build relationships with internal managers and external training providers and ensure personal development plans are being adhered to. Candidates should be enthusiastic, confident and highly organised with natural communication skills and a genuine interest in L&D. Having worked previously in a busy people coordination role (such as recruitment, HR, planning or L&D), the successful candidate will have excellent coordination skills and demonstrable ability for juggling schedules and liaising with others. Previous UK based experience is essential as is a background in a media, retail or creative environment. All candidates should possess strong numerical and written skills and should be used to communicating with individuals in both senior and junior positions.
