Lead Site HR Business Partner - manufacturing
Location: East Midlands
Salary: 48-60,000 + great benefits

Our Client is a global market leading business and as such is seeking an outstanding individual to be responsible for the people agenda at one of their growing manufacturing sites.

The role:
. Key influencer on the manufacturing Senior Leadership Team establishing direction and policy for the entire operation, while acting as a Change Agent, requiring the ability to manage continuous improvement initiatives across all departments and all levels within the organisation
. Give guidance and support to supervisors/ management in dealing consistently and constructively with HR issues such as compensation, disciplinary actions, employee development, staffing, and creating and maintaining positive company culture
. Be responsible for business change programmes.
. Drives organisational initiatives such as talent development, employee engagement and learning and development.
. Oversee the hiring processes including the recruitment, screening, interviewing and selection of candidates while ensuring compliance requirements.
. Support the key programs including, but not limited to the performance management system, salary/merit increases, promotions, bonuses, and reward & recognition programs as necessary or as directed.
. Create policies, programs, and practices
. Responsible for the employee engagement programme
. Provide guidance for safety programs, participate in Safety Steering Committee.
. Ensures compliance in all matters pertaining to human resource management
. Leads in the development training programs
. Leads cultural assessment process and provides direction on developing action plans
. Provide and participate in various other assignments/projects as necessary

The person:
. Degree educated and CIPD qualified
. Human Resources management experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment required, FMCG, food Manufacturing, environment preferred
. Experience of translating business strategy into a solid people agenda
. Ability to promote positive employee relations
. Strong organisational, written, verbal and group or individual presentation skills
. Must be able to build relationships across the entire organisation
Passionate about learning; possess the desire to continue to learn and grow professionally and personally.
. Ability to create innovative people solutions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and respond to short project deadlines with accuracy
. Experience of delivering significant change projects whilst influencing positively on the business bottom-line
