Learning and Development Adviser / Training / L&D

Leeds

Salary: £28,000 p.a.

Our client is a charitable housing association providing homes, care and support across Yorkshire.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Adviser to develop and deliver learning and development plans which support their business needs and deliver value for money.

Within this role you will develop learning needs matrices and design learning paths for key roles whilst managing learning path delivery and agreeing the provision for their future continuity. You will deliver L&D projects and provide support to corporate projects; this will include contributing to the preparation of the learning and development budget. Working alongside the Learning and Development Manager you will deliver selected L&D modules and development programmes in order to support their personnel in training delivery and business needs. A key requirement of the role will be to further develop the use of their Learning management system.

The successful candidate for this position will ideally hold a relevant professional qualification, for example CIPD, and will have previous experience in identifying learning needs and designing appropriate learning solutions. Experience of training module design and delivery and development of a Learning Management System is required with social housing sector experience being desirable. Our client is looking for an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, influencing and project management skills, along with the ability to understand and respond to business needs.

Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within Yorkshire is required.
