The successful Learning and Development Facilitator will receive a competitive salary of 21,000 - 25,000 per annum + benefits.

Learning and Development Facilitator Main Job Purpose

To contribute to the overall success of the company by achieving delivery against the objectives of the L&D Team. With a focus on providing effective outcomes through the full Learning and development cycle of Training Needs Analysis, Design, Delivery and Evaluation

Responsibilities as our Learning and Development Facilitator

- Support the end-to-end learning and development cycle including training needs analysis, training design, delivery and evaluation

- Working with stakeholders throughout the business to identify training needs. Complete training interventions where required and if necessary facilitate and lead the solution

- Design and develop learning and development programmes based on the organisation's priorities, as well as individual team member needs

- Support the design of an in-house blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, 1-2-1 sessions, action learning and e-learning - including the development and writing of course materials, delegate guides and facilitator guides

- Ensure all documentation meets the standard format of the L&D Department

- Amend and revise programmes as directed, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment

- Support the delivery of learning and development programmes across the business in a variety of business areas

- Monitor, evaluate and review the progress of trainees throughout the business and complete ongoing evaluation of the company's learning and development programmes

- Ensure statutory training requirements are met, and all materials include appropriate legislative standards

- Manage delegate adherence to all staff policies whilst in training environment and academies

- Act as a role model throughout the business as a trainer, coach and leader

- Act as a Team Leader during the training academy for new starters

- Ensure the day-to-day delivery of the six defined fair customer outcomes across all business functions

Our ideal Learning and Development Facilitator will have:

- Understand the fundamentals of training including analysis, design, delivery and evaluation

- Capability to deliver training in process, procedures, soft skills and legislative requirements

- Capability to design training materials for process, soft skill and legislative requirements

- Capability to liaise with key stakeholders, SME's and project teams to conduct thorough needs analysis

- Understanding of adult learning theories

- Understanding of different learning styles and how to design training which meets the requirements of all styles

- Capability to work as part of a team and support a team in delivering shared objectives

- Motivate and inspire new and existing staff acting as a role model for the team and business

- Clear and documented focus on CPD evidenced through a CPD plan

- Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and completing relevant courses

- Understanding of the design, facilitation and evaluation of Management Development Programmes would be advantageous

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

- GCSE English A-C

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a training role

- Experience of training delivery and facilitation experience

- Experience of course development

Desirable

- CIPD Certificate in Learning and Development Practice (formally the CTP) or willing to work towards

- Contact centre experience

- Experience in design of technical training

- Experience of working in a financial/ FCA regulated environment
