Our client, based in central Rickmansworth are seeking an L & D Advisor with experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of L & D programmes and experiences. The main purpose of this role is working closely with the Learning & Development Business Partner to provide L&D support to the business through developing, delivering, managing, and evaluating learning programmes and experiences, both face to face and online. Analysing development needs, designing and delivering development solutions, and managing the day to day administration of learning and development activities. Key responsibilities: Work with managers, stakeholders, and individuals to provide timely learning experiences for both behavioural and technical knowledge/skills in line with business needs. Analyse L&D requirements and needs to develop, deliver, and evaluate learning experiences to drive professional development and improvement of business capabilities. Maintain smooth running of the L&D offerings across the organisation such as the leadership academy, workshops and courses, e-learning library, psychometrics, further education agreements, and the coaching and mentoring programmes. Provide administrative support for learning to the L&D and HR teams by administering and monitoring course bookings and attendance, maintaining records, supporting external facilitators, invoice management, and providing general support. Collate and produce relevant L&D information and statistics for the production of management information and reporting. Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers to ensure that requirements are met (cost, service, and quality) and agreed processes are effectively managed. Manage and deliver the company induction programme and other internal workshops, working with internal experts to ensure ongoing effectiveness. Partner with the HR Business Partners and wider HR team to identify learning opportunities and support with L&D materials or programmes. Develop and maintain the L&D and supporting intranet spaces and groups to promote learning and development offerings. Utilise social functions of the intranet to support learning across the organisation and help grow a self-directed learning culture. Manage Learning Management System (LMS) as the central hub for learning, promoting across the business, identifying areas for improvement, and partnering with internal and external support to resolve issues. Co-ordinate and work with external training brokers and suppliers to manage specialist training requests. Develop and maintain knowledge of modern L&D methodologies and approaches, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and helping to influence learning approaches and culture across the business
