Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a Learning & Development Officer for an established engineering business based in North Nottinghamshire. This is a super opportunity for a Learning & Development professional with 3+ years experience to join an established HR team providing L&D solutions to the business.

Reporting into the HR manager the role of Learning & Development Officer will work as part of the HR team to deliver effective L&D solutions to all levels of business in a timely and cost effective manner. The role will be responsible for implementing effective talent development, aligned with business objectives on both technical and soft skills training.

Key responsibilities will include:

-Taking an active role in the development and delivery of learning and development process including the design and delivery of all training
-Procurement and co-ordination of management development IT and soft-skills training
-Facilitating teams events and other learning activities
-Implementing organisation strategy and plans to meet training and development needs (TNA) as well as managing delivery and evaluation
-Working with functional and developmental leaders to plan training budgets and forecasting
-Support apprenticeship development within the business
-Reviewing and revising all training materials to ensure alignment to business needs
-Manage e-learniing and blended learning techniques
-Maintain the training skills database and reporting of information to management

Elevation Recruitment Group would be keen to speak to candidates with the following key skills and experience:

-Proven experience of L&D gained within manufacturing, engineering or similar environment
-Familiarity with training systems
-Experience of e-learning techniques
-A professional, confident and influential approach to training
-Familiar with working with competencies and performance measures
-The ability to influence stakeholders and encourage proactive methods of development
-Ideally CIPD qualified
-Very strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
-Able to demonstrate creative and engaging training design
-Excellent team worker and able to work under pressure
-A willingness to travel across sites in the midlands area
