Description
A market leading Relocation Services Provider is seeking an experienced Mobility Consultant to work on site at one of their key Clients. To advise Client HR business partners on mobility policy, trends and best practices in order to ensure that Client mobility programs are in line with Client business strategy.
Work with other Client HR teams to ensure that Client mobility programs complement and support Client overall HR strategy.
Responsible for ensuring a smooth and coordinated relocation for Client mobile employees.
- Partners with Client business HR teams in order to advise and support the Client business goals.
- Interaction with Client Senior Line Managers and other HR colleagues regarding all prospective assignments and transfers - this includes proving guidance around the appropriate package, producing a cost estimate and liaising with the team.
- Work closely with the Client US and regional Global Mobility teams to ensure consistency, equity and best practices around the world.
- Ensure close collaboration with other HR specialist functions in order to ensure that the requirements of Client's mobile population are being met.
- Advise and assist Client EMEA country coordinators in managing mobility across the region.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are being met.
- Data maintenance and management of mobile population including updating system where required.
- Contribution to regular reporting metrics.
- Regular travel to the other UK offices is required for training, meetings etc, arranged with reasonable notice.
- Ad hoc projects as required.
- To understand the general insurance responsibilities of the business and keep abreast of changes to the FSA regulatory procedures
- To assist customers with general insurance enquiries in line with guidelines and arrange insurance as required
- To assist colleagues in meeting the general insurance responsibilities of the business.
Education/Experience Requirement:
- Previous experience in international mobility management or HR generalist experience.
- Understanding of current immigration regulations, tax and social security laws would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with HR policies and practices including employment law, compensation strategies and benefit programs.
- Experience living, working and/or studying abroad, preferred but not required.
