Occupational Health and Wellbeing Advisor 6 to 12 months Warwick Our exclusive client, one of the largest Utilities companies in the UK is looking for an Occupational Health and Wellbeing Advisor to improve the way we manage and improve employee's wellbeing across the business. Experience: Knowledge of health legislation, occupational health process and best practicePassionate about safety, health and wellbeing, with high levels of enthusiasm and drive to achieve results, recognised internally as a skilled resource for health and wellbeing.Experience in contract managing the performance of service providers, preferably in the area of occupational health and wellbeingAbility to engage and influence at all levels from senior management to staff and their representativesRelevant experience working within complex organisations, interacting with key stakeholders to support the implementation of proactive wellbeing programmes designed to positivity impact the health of the organisation.Experience of delivering personal objectives as part of a wider health strategy while working within and supporting a broader team of Health and Wellbeing Specialists.Knowledge and experience in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of H&W programmes on personal and business performance.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate articulately at all levelsResilient with the confidence and courage to challenge behaviours and issuesAbility to think of innovative news ways in which to engage the business in SSR issues and help devise creative solutions to the Occupational Health issues identified using creative problem solving techniques.Good organisational and project management skills and ability to manage own workload Key Tasks: Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholderFormulate health and wellbeing policies, standards and high level procedures for the business ensuring that they meet legislative requirements and best practice.Provide the process to formulate expert and specialist health and wellbeing advice to the business entities and line managers in the business on legislative requirements and best practice.Design and monitor the delivery of the health surveillance programme through the occupational health service provider.Support in the delivery of a sustained culture change programme for wellbeing by working in partnership with the health and wellbeing team, health charities and other organisations to improve the way health and wellbeing issues are addressed within the business.Provide information and advice to key stakeholders.Work with the Health and Wellbeing Team and others to develop a clear direction and effective programmes for helping to identify and manage work related or work impacting health issues through risk assessment, training and support.
