Elevation HR are currently recruiting for a part-time HR Manager for a construction business based in Doncaster. This is a standalone HR Manager role supporting them in a full generalist capacity.

The need for a robust HR Manager has arisen through business expansion and through the need for HR to be expanded within the business. The successful candidate will take the lead on all HR related activities for the business.

Working with senior managers, the role will be responsible for all recruitment activity to support business growth objectives as well as responsibility for a generalist day to day remit including employee relations, engagement, talent development, people development, performance management, reward and remuneration, training & development and the general health & safety and well-being of the employees. This standalone role will involve providing robust support to the senior management team on all people-related issues.

To be successful in the role you should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of employment law, possess a good generalist background ideally within a construction/building/manufacturing environment as well as being able to demonstrate creativity, influence, passion for HR. You should be able to demonstrate working autonomously, possibly within a start up situation.

Ideally the role will be 5 days per week, on a part-time basis c25-30 hours, 4 days will be considered and hours are flexible.

Elevation HR would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experience:

- MCIPD Qualified/ Grad CIPD or working towards
- HR experience gained within the construction sector or similar
- A degree in HR or a business related degree would be highly desirable
- Ability to communicate and influence across ALL levels
- Ability to work standalone and be self-sufficient
- Flexible can do attitude
