Description
Our client is looking for an experienced HR generalist to join them on a part time basis on a three to four month contract to cover sickness. Reporting into the HR Manager you will assist in providing a full HR service to the business including employee relations, resourcing, reward and training and development. The HR team works closely together and their approach is to provide a service that is client focused, responsive and effective.
Duties will include:-
- Providing support and guidance to managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance management and absence matters
- Providing advice to staff seeking guidance or information
- Updating policies and procedures, employment contracts, changes to terms letters, staff handbook etc
- Supporting the HR Assistant with all parts of the recruitment life cycle
- Assisting with annual benchmarking exercise and supporting the business with job matching and salary survey interpretation
- Assisting the HR Assistant with flexible benefits, maternity and payroll queries
- Supporting the annual salary review process
- Assisting with HR projects
Person Specification
- Part qualified or a graduate member of the CIPD
- Proven experience within a similar level generalist HR role
- Previous experience of disciplinary and grievance procedures to dismissal level
- Strong IT and communication skills
