Markets Develops a strong external network to bring best practice insights in to the firm and understand the talent landscape in the marketplace. Has an awareness of trends/developments in employment law and recent cases and their implicationsBrings insights from a commercial focus on the marketplace, to include specific market dynamics impacting on the business and people strategy in their area, and uses this to inform thinking and decision makingShows a deep understanding of the firm's business, vision, strategy and values and uses this as a foundation in all workIdentifies emerging and declining roles in the business model in area of responsibility and adjusts resourcing, talent management and development strategies as neededContributes to the design and delivery of QBU's and engagement events for the business stream/region and facilitates team events including insights, visioning and strategy sessions. Engages with the Centre of Expertise for guidance and escalation of issues where necessaryDrives the local talent and succession planning strategy to ensure that talent and succession plans for key roles are in place and that action is taken to mitigate any identified succession planning riskCoaches and enables people managers to deliver a consistently great people experience across the employee lifecycle aligned to shared enterprise, actively supports the firm's people experience strategy and engages nationally to enable the development of a consistent and valued experience for our peopleProvides support and facilitation to develop effective leadership across all levels through coaching and challenging leaders Operations Engages leaders to improve organisation performance through optimising organisation structure.
