NCS Recruiter - North West (Huyton) Location: Main office in Huyton but travel around North West area is essential (cover all schools and colleges) Employment Type: Permanent, full time Salary: 18,000-22,500 per annum There will be an opportunity for the candidates to earn a self-generated performance bonus in addition to the salary Working hours: 8-4:30pm (there will be some evening work on occasions but you will accrue toil when this happens) Travel: Paid at 45pence per mile Closing date for applicants: 13th November 2016 Applicants MUST hold a full, clean driving license as travel is required. Overview of Recruiter Role: Currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic recruiter who has a proven track record of hitting sales targets and has regularly been a top performer in their previous roles. You will be involved in a fast-paced sales based environment, recruiting young people on to the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme engaging with a socially diverse mix of 15,16 & 17 year olds. Reporting into the Regional Recruitment Manager, you will be excepted to meet targets in relation to the number of young people expressing an interest and subsequently signing up as a result of your recruitment events via assemblies, stalls, careers events, parent's evenings, youth club events etc. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven target exceeder to who has both a passion for sales and creating life changing opportunities for young people. Overview of NCS: NCS is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity open to 15, 16 and 17 year olds across England. It is a unique programme mixing fun, discovery and challenge, designed to build confidence and prepare young people for their journey into adulthood. The programme aims to create: A more cohesive society by mixing participants from very different backgrounds A more responsible society by supporting the transition into adulthood and the development of essential skills for employment (teamwork, leadership, communication) A more engaged society by enabling young people to work together to create social action projects in their local communities. Main Duties: To meet targets set by Regional Recruitment Manager for each NCS recruitment campaign Ability to present to large audiences of young people creating enthusiasm and a passion to take part in NCS via schools, colleges and youth group events Ability to deliver strong sales pitches when working on recruitment stalls to sell the NCS experience to young people Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders including teachers, parents/guardians, community leaders, governors etc in order to gain support for NCS Proactively identify new opportunities to recruit young people onto the programme Ability to adapt presentation style to a varied audience Ability to work with young people during delivery of the summer NCS programme Candidate Requirements: Sales experience within a target environment, demonstrating when you have been a top performer Be able to present to 300 students in a school assemblyAble to engage and inspire young people one-to-one.They will need to be well organised, and have the integrity to manage their caseload while being out and about on the road in their region. Public speaking experience Ability to build a quick rapport with people (including young people, stakeholders and parent/guardians) Driving license and access to car An energetic, enthusiastic, confident and persuasive personalityA hunger for success!Ability to work as part of a team towards individual and team targetsAccurate data inputtingMust be flexible to travel across the region as and when requiredCandidates who are offered the role will go through an enhanced DBS check
