Position Overview The Apprentice Business Development Executive (ABDE) will support the Business Development Executive (BDE) as they work on activities related to identifying, pitching for and securing new Future LDN / Tech City Stars employers who wish to hire apprentices and match young people with these vacancies. Main Duties and Responsibilities Client Engagement To engage with companies for Future LDN / Tech City Stars programmes with a view to creating new vacancies as per agreed KPIsSecure meetings with and meet with potential clients to pitch Future LDN / Tech City Stars and ensure that each new client completes a Terms of Business.Work with the client to create appropriate Apprenticeship Job Descriptions.Develop an understanding of clients wants, needs and motivations for their engagement with Future LDN / Tech City Stars.At all times be active and creative in attempts to build up a client base.Build relationships with new clients so that they work to our processes for matching apprentices to roles. Network Development Work daily to build and maintain a pool of clients from whom vacancies can be created either immediately or gradually.Research and attend appropriate events in London that might give insight into which clients we should engage.Be familiarized with and use Salesforce for logging and maintaining client engagement.Ensure Salesforce is up to date to allow for its use as a business development tool.Log client interaction on Salesforce for use against MIS reports Apprentice Search Take responsibility for candidate recruitment.Screen all applications, identify appropriate candidates for roles and update their Salesforce records accordingly.Establish and maintain a suitable system for storing information relating to candidate eligibility and store this information for screened candidates on Salesforce.Interview candidates based on the requirements of each role in line with targets set by management with a view to putting suitable candidates forward for client interviews.Screen candidate applications based on our available apprenticeship framework, business capabilities and requirements.Ensure candidate pool is current and suitable for ad hoc recruitment needs of our brands.Ensure candidate pool is contacted weekly by phone.Work with other members of the team to coordinate and organize registration days for screening of candidates.Format CV's for suitable candidates in the prescribed format before sending them to clients for consideration.Coordinate and book interviews with Clients in interview slots / trail days.Consult with candidates throughout their interview process providing interview preparation, debrief and offer stages whilst understanding their motivations and particular requirements.Coordinate start information for candidates who are successful in receiving an offer of an apprenticeship.Ensure that candidate records on Salesforce are absolutely up to date before handing those records over to the Head of Business Development. General Answer, screen and transfer inbound telephone calls, take and pass on relevant messages and present an excellent image of the company in doing soResolve administrative problems and enquiries and give written and oral responses to routine enquiries received from external partiesComply with company policies and procedures on Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities and undertake relevant training in these areas to ensure competence and compliance.Any other duties as may be reasonably required by the purview of the post.
