Job Title:Recruitment Consultant - Procurement Location:Central London Salary:20,000 -22,000 basic + commission (OTE c.23-28K Year 1) The Company People First is a successful, multi-sector agency with an enviable reputation for professionalism within the recruitment market place. We are looking for a determined, forward-thinking consultant to work in a dedicated team environment within the Supply Chain team. The Role You will be handling a number of well-known clients working on jobs in the supply chain function and you will also be expected to develop your client base further with a particular focus on Procurement vacancies. As a Recruitment Consultant one of the most important aspects of the role is team working. You will be working very closely with experienced consultants and a manager who will mentor and guide you, as well as working closely with colleagues in other teams. The role is very varied and challenging and at any one time you will be handling a number of different vacancies, all at a different stage of the recruitment process. You will be given guidance and support, but will also have a lot of autonomy, with responsibility for managing and expanding your own candidate and client base. Duties include: - Sourcing candidates and screening CVs - Matching candidates to job descriptions - Interviewing candidates in our offices - Speaking to existing and potential clients to develop business - Coordinating interviews between candidates and clients - Handling offer negotiations The Person - Confident in creating and maintaining both face to face and telephone based relationships with a wide range of candidates and clients across seniority levels - Dedicated with strong organisational skills - Excellent account management ability - Possess the determination to succeed - Experience of or interest in sales, recruitment or account management - An excellent telephone manner - Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer service values - Be very well presented - Experience within supply chain or procurement would be an advantage Language skills (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Arabic, etc.) may be a bonus.
