Our client, one of London's largest and oldest universities, is looking for a Recruitment Partner to work full time Monday to Friday (9am-5pm). This role is a 1 year fixed term. The ideal candidate will support workforce planning along with providing expert advice on applicant attraction, assessment and on-boarding; influencing the development of the employer's brand. Lead the development and continuous improvement the staff recruitment service. Key responsibilities: Acting as the in-house recruitment specialist, provide expert advice and guidance to managers on the most appropriate means of recruitment and appointment to new posts and vacancies Manage recruitment programmes at all levels and, where appropriate, through the HR Advisers Engage with managers to scope and develop an in-house resourcing service including advertising, developing high quality recruitment materials; screening and sifting; social media; assessments and on-boarding Manage recruitment campaigns for academic, specialist and senior management roles and participate in selection panels Research and develop recruitment methodologies Train HR and managers in latest techniques, best practice and keep associated procedures up to date. Produce recruitment KPI reports on recruitment trends and outputs, including an annual report and recommendations relating to the progress of minorities at the University in terms of promotion, recruitment and progress. Essential requirements Breadth of resourcing experience in Human Resources across the public and private sector organisations. Some experience of delivering an in-house recruitment service in the Higher Education is preferable. Track record of developing and enhancing the in-house resourcing service CIPD or specialist recruitment qualification. Knowledge of the relevant employment law and best practice in recruitment and selection. Ability to influence and manage projects Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to develop employer branding and social media presence support recruitment Ability to develop and analyse resourcing analytics to inform recruitment strategy Track record of developing positive action initiatives to promote equality and diversity in recruitment This post is graded at Grade 8. The full time salary range is 43,594 to 51,194 per annum, inclusive of 4,270 London weighting per annum. Annual Leave commences at 26.5 working days per annum plus public and bank holidays, and days when the University is closed.
