Purpose of role: Providing a constant stream of relevant available candidates to the Logistics Resource Manager recruitment by undertaking key components of the recruitment process. Main Responsibilities: Maintaining an existing candidate database is up to date, gauging candidates' requirements and informing Logistics Labour Supply Manager of their availability, recording information accurately at all times. Liaising with candidates and conducting telephone interviews. Advertising and dealing with advert response. Booking appointments for registrations and inductions. Matching temporary workers' requirements to temporary positions, checking feasibility of public transport links, and giving out clear and accurate directions over the phone. Checking in all new starters and refilling temporary assignments or chasing up workers who have not arrived at work. Dealing with any queries in a professional manner. Conducting basic inductions, ensuring all registered candidates are fully aware of or relevant operating procedures. Performing general administrative duties, completing reports, requesting and monitoring documentation and various forms. Monitoring and maintaining CSCS records, PORTW and all other necessary documentation. Key Measures & Expected Results: Making a minimum of 80 outbound candidates calls per day. Booking in a minimum of 8 candidate registrations per day. 100% fill ratio for all allocated assignments. Essential Requirements: Customer Service experience within an office environment. A friendly and professional telephone manner. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Good command of English (both written and verbal). Ability to navigate around various websites and exploit search engines to their full potential. Ability to utilise a recruitment database. Accurate data entry skills. Positive and motivated. Flexible and willing to work outside of normal office hours when necessary. Desirable Requirements: Although recruitment experience would be beneficial it is not essential. Recruitment database experience.
