Exciting multi-sited HR role available for an HR Generalist with a minimum of 1 years experience. You will be happy to work in a stand alone HR role reporting to an offsite HR Manager. The role will be based in Ashford with travel to others sites around the South East very regularly. Main Duties and Responsibilities Help drive organisational performance in line with core business objectives. Provide a dedicated HR advisory service, in relation to absence/health issues, disciplinary & grievance matters and organisational change. Keeping up to date with developments in employment legislation and human resources best practice. Interpreting and advising on employment legislation. Develop and implement policies and procedures. Working in partnership with managers across the business to help them both understand and apply them. Develop the functionality of HR systems in order to support HR initiatives and the provision of management information. Ensure compliance that all employees have relevant DBS and reference checks. Provide cover across the HR team as appropriate. Lead on key HR developments and projects that are derived from the HR strategy. Experience and skills required for the role Experience in providing advice and support to senior managers on all HR Issues. The ability to research, analyse and reason logically and effectively. Excellent organisation and time management skills in order to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. A proactive, results-focused approach with the ability to use own initiative to suggest improvements and facilitate change. Experience in leading projects and implementing new initiatives. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel Experience of working in a developing HR department and in a multi-site organisation. Able to work with employees and stakeholders at all levels. Fully CIPD qualified. Must hold a Full UK Driving License and be willing to travel regularly.
