Our client is leading international FMCG business with products sold in over 160 countries worldwide. The Group currently has around 38,000 employees and operates 51 manufacturing sites across the globe.
A key aspect of this role is the co-development of and subsequent execution of the Group Sales and Group Marketing Corporate and HR agenda across the entire region - Africa and Middle East. A key member of the Africa Middle East Leadership Team, the role holder is responsible for all aspects of HR with a particular focus on the capability, talent, performance, engagement and OHSE agenda for the region. In addition to being Adviser and coach to the Region Leadership Team, the role holder will also be responsible for the development of HR capability within their region and the ongoing coaching and performance development of the in market HR Managers. As a region which over time will become one of the principle gateways for talent into the business, the role holder will be responsible for the effective activation of our employer brand across all of the markets working closely with the market GMs and their management teams to monitor ROI.
Provide strong leadership on all people related issues across Africa Middle East.
Review market performance against corporate plan objectives and sales growth agenda with the regional team on a quarterly basis
Responsible for the full breadth of HR disciplines across the region, either working with market management, Functional and Group HR or individually, to deliver the required outcome.
Manage performance, coach, motivate and encourage HR teams across the region to deliver professional and value-added service.
Lead and drive effective execution of the engagement strategy for the region ensuring alignment with group and functional approach and drive implementation through entire market structure across all markets. Establish tracking and measurement aligned with market commercial performance and take proactive steps to address issues
Set the employer Branding strategy for the region & roll out by Market and put in place measurement tracking processes/systems to ensure its ROI for the business
Lead markets in identification of talent at all levels of the organisation, from beneath the CMG to the Market management team levels, ensuring a continuous supply for the Region and ultimately functions talent pipeline
Ensure a consistent application of organisation design and structure across the markets within the region and anticipate organisation development needs that may arise in order to continuously align with the sales growth agenda in the region.
Develop and manage the talent management process for AME ensuring effective succession planning, talent identification and development for all markets within the Region.
