As a Resourcing Officer, you'll support the Business Unit (BU) leadership and play an important role in the implementation and delivery of RM (Resource Management) services to provide operational excellence You will be part of a Resourcing team covering 4 offices in the East of the region (Uxbridge, St Albans, Cambridge and Norwich) but you'll be based in Uxbridge with the rest of the team Client Details My client are a global company within the accountancy industry Description As the Resourcing Officer, your key responsibilities will be to: Optimise the allocation of work and deployment of staff, taking into account factors such as profitability, personal development and individual well-being.Plan, coordinate and implement resourcing activity to support the overall business objectives and strategy of the BU and RM.Be familiar with all RM systems (Retain, Finder, etc) and with the maintenance, update and accuracy of records.Produce Management Information (MI) for the RM leadership and client needs, e.g. graphs, analytical data, trendsReview and analyse the MI and reports highlighting BU trends and any risks/exceptionsEstablish effective relationships and becomes known as a reference point within RMBuild relationships with other functions such as Human Capital (HC) and Finance and interact from the RM perspectivePlay an active role in sharing knowledge and skills not only within your team but within the wider RM functionProactively support the People Managers with regard to their role and responsibilities in resourcing processes to enable them to have good quality interactions with their staffManage all movements within the BU (joiners, leavers, engagements, secondments, transfers, maternity)Liaise with Global Mobility in respect of compliance around immigration and visas Profile Requirements of the Resourcing Officer: Have workforce planning, resourcing, recruitment or project management exposure, within a corporate/professional environmentConfident and skilled verbal and written communicatorInteract effectively with empathy, impact and discretion, cultivating trusted advisor working relationships with clients, team members and the wider RM functionFlexibility and ability to learn quickly in a fast moving environmentAble to plan and prioritise, multi task and manage a significant workload under pressureTeam player who takes initiative and ownershipStrong relationship management exposure; ability to interact with people at all levels and able to influence/negotiateAble to portray a professional, customer oriented image of resource managementStrong attention to detailProactive and willing to go the extra mileStrong organisation and time management skills with excellent administration skillsGood systems knowledge - Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) is essentialKnowledge of manpower planning systems (e.g. Retain) would be advantageous but not essential. Job Offer A fast-paced Resourcing Officer role, working for a global accountancy company. Offering a salary of 28,000 - 35,000. You will be required to travel to the other offices on a regular basis, so you will probably be out of the office once or twice a week.
