A Reward Consultant is needed for a 6 month interim period based in Exeter. Manging a team of 2 people you will manage and deliver the Compensation and Benefits Programme. Other key accountabilities will include:
Manage the Operational Reward Team to deliver key reward interventions. This includes, but is not limited to, CA and PCH Pay Review, Job Evaluation, Market Analysis; pay advice, management of sign off process and Management Information, maintenance of the Variable Pay register.
Develop and maintain a close working relationship with key HR and Business partners to ensure that the Reward function is at the forefront of discussions which impact on Remuneration packages.
Review and analyse elements of the remuneration package e.g. variable pay to ensure that they are effective in supporting business plans and are in line with Performance measures.
Develop working relationships with key stakeholders in Employee Relations to ensure that communication of changes are made in a timely manner where applicable to Reward.
To monitor competitor trends in the market place to ensure that the business is rewarding employees in line with external benchmarks.
Ad Hoc Reward Projects.
The successful candidate will be a reward expert with the technical knowledge gained working in large corporate environments. You will be managing a team so leadership skills are important. Your ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships is imperative so you must be a good communicator and influence at the highest level. You credibility will have been gained delivering major reward programmes in the past or maybe managing a team.
