Due to an internal restructure, my client is currently looking to recruit an interim Sales Training Manager to join the already established training team for an initial period of 6 months.
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director and working from the Leeds and Andover office with travel to other satellite offices, you will design and deliver effective training to support a sustainable sales force. You will get an understanding of the business plan and deliver and development strategy that will support a sustainable sales competence and deliver the performance needed to achieve goals. You will also look at the strategy and framework to monitor compliance and implement a structure that will ensure compliance levels rise throughout the business. You will have a clear understanding of skills and behaviours that are required to provide a successful sales performance and implement an effective process to identify gaps in these behaviours. You will coach and manage a team of sales trainers responsible for the delivery of sales training courses and work closely with the sales leadership teams responsible for the performance and development of the sales force. You will also design and deliver sales induction training, compliance training, self study training, sales leadership training, manage external supplier relationships where necessary and ensure best practice is shared across the teams.
Ideally CIPD qualified, you will have proven experience of leading a training programme. With previous people management experience, you will be able to design and deliver a variety of training course and be able to influence at a senior level. You must have a strong understanding of FSA regulations and compliance and have excellent project management skills. This position will be based from Leeds or Andover with regular UK wide travel so you must be able to stay away from home and a company car is provided on top of the basic salary.
