Senior HR Advisor - Morton Steel

Our client, a leader in their field, are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisorto join their team. Reporting into the HR Manager duties will include:-

• Providing Mangers with HR advice and guidance on disciplinary and grievance procedures and other general employee queries
• Responsibility for the day to day running of the HR Department including line management responsibility for a team of HR Advisors and Assistants
• Monitoring HR standards across the organisation and contributing to periodic audits
• Undertaking HR project work as necessary
• Liaising with the company's legal advisors in relation to employment matters as appropriate
• Assisting with the management of the HRIS
• Producing HR management Information for Senior Managers and Directors as required
• Ensuring knowledge is up to date with changes to statutory procedures, employment law etc.
• Undertaking any other duties as required

Person Specification

• Proven generalist HR experience gained in a similar role
• Experience of working at a senior level providing advice on complex HR issues
• Excellent working knowledge and experience of dealing with ER issues
• Up to date knowledge of Employment Law
• Previous line management experience
• Good time management, self-motivation, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to make decisions
• Strong IT skills
