Senior HR Advisor required to oversee 3 offices in Sussex, Surrey and Kent. The role will be based initially in Sutton until early 2017, when the offices move to Crawley. Please note travel will be required between the Sussex and Kent offices. The client is seeking to recruit a energetic and business focused Senior HR Advisor to join the HR Operations team and will report directly to the Head of HR Operations. The ideal candidate will hopefully be CIPD qualified and have good strong HR generalists skills including sound employment law processes. You will be required to help the client achieve a strong focus on employee relations and good people management practices. You would provide a professional leadership to the HR advisory team and also champion best practice.JOB SUMMARYThe Senior Human Resources Advisor provides a range of specialist advice and support on Employee Relations issues and policy to managers and staff within the organisation (e.g. terms and conditions, case work, policy development). They are also expected to deal with the more complex cases escalated by the HR Advisors..Work with the HR Business Partners and the HR Operations Manager to support theprovision of a timely and customer focused generalist HR service:.To be part of the team providing HR support and advice to managers and senior staffincluding support and advice regarding organisational change and case work relating toabsence, performance, grievance and disciplinary issues..To provide a comprehensive Employee Relations service in relation to allocatedcasework, investigating and diagnosing the issues involved & enabling the resolution ofissues as quickly as possible.CIPD qualified or working towards MCIPD professional qualification or other relevant HRqualifications/experience.Experience Significant experience of successfully working in a generalist HR capacity in a complex , multidisciplined operational organisation including extensive experience ofmanaging ER casework, performance and absence management and redundancy processes.Management or supervisory experience, including supportingand developing staff, allocating and monitoring work.Experience of dealing with complex case management issues and coaching colleagues around these issues to enhance their professional development.Experience of providing clear, balanced advice and guidance on a wide range of generalist HR issues to management teams.Experience of establishing productive relationships with colleagues and customers(internally and externally) and across a variety of levels of seniority to deliver a generalist HR service that meets customer needs.Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business
