Description
This is an exciting time with rapid growth plans in place. Therefore the ideal candidate will be in a position where they can apply their extensive knowledge, experience and skill into the following areas of the job role:· Assist the development & maintenance of on-going effective Business HR strategy in line with the organisations UK HR strategy, which meets the needs of the business and drives forward improved business results giving the business an industry leading position.
· Work with individual members of the Business management team and their line managers to effectively implement HR/business strategies & evaluate progress.
· Provide broad HR support to lone managers to build people management capability.
· Coach mangers and teams in the use of relevant HR tools, ensuring high performance, developing a culture of continuous process improvement.
· Manage business specific HR projects, actively contributing to both sector HR & local business projects.
· Utilise appropriate HR & business orientated metrics to identify emerging issues for the business
· Build and maintain harmonious, effective working relationships with employees & all stake holders.
· In order for your application to be taken seriously the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate how they meet each point of the essential criteria-
· Degree level with the addition of holding or working towards MCIPD.
· Solid experience in managing HR initiatives & projects at HR Business partner level with a large fast paced, forward thinking organisation.
· A minimum of 5 years broad ranging generalist HR experience as a minimum requirement.
· Extensive experience of working closely with Business Directors and business/line managers
· High ability and skill in communication skills both verbal & written with a high level of situational sensitivity.
· Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft office, SAP HR, power point.
· Extensive experience of dealing with colleagues from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
