Senior Human Resources Manager

Fixed Term/Secondment until 31 March 2013

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to support the NHS Humber Cluster Primary Care Trusts and Care Trust Plus in managing the transition from current NHS arrangements to the new NHS architecture as required under the proposed Health and Social Care Bill.

Working to the NHS Humber Cluster Director of Human Resources, you will manage an HR transition team and work closely with Directors, HR Leads and senior managers to ensure that the HR transition action plans are delivered to challenging timescales. You will support the -organisational change programme and manage complex workforce issues, including staff consultation, redeployment processes and effective transfer of staff under TUPE/COSOP arrangements to new organisations. This will require working in partnership with Directors and senior managers with HR Leads, fellow HR professionals and Trade Union Representatives across the Cluster in supporting these processes. 

You will need to be an established HR Generalist working at a senior level with excellent communication skills, with experience of working in a complex organisation, with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload. Experience of leading the workforce elements of service redesign and organisational change, including TUPE/COSOP transfers is essential. 

The successful candidate will need to be CIPD qualified to graduate level.
