Senior Payroll & Benefits Advisor - 4049 Sheffield - S9 1XH Head Office, part of SIG plc We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Payroll & Benefits Advisor to join our Payroll and Reward team to provide a first class pay & benefits service to SIG and oversee the day to day activities of the Payroll and Reward function for the UK companies. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the payroll & reward team and will be the 'go to' team for all advice and guidance, for employees, on all aspects of payroll. The key responsibilities will be to calculate process and reconcile the full SIG payrolls, ensuring all compliance, establish controls, approvals and audit controls and be responsible for all internal and statutory reporting. In addition, you will support, develop and further test the payroll system and become a 'Super-user' to allowed continued improvements and efficiencies to be introduced. This position requires an individual who understands the necessity for confidentiality and professionalism at all times and is able to deliver in a fast-paced, demanding environment with the ability to adapt to change. About you? We are seeking candidates with a CIPP qualification or working towards, or in addition equivalent experience in a Payroll & Reward Function; you will have an in-depth knowledge of 'good practice' payroll processing and procedures and have expert knowledge of all current PAYE and benefits legislation. We need someone who has the ability to lead a team and manage the entire end to end payroll process, whilst having the ability to deliver continuous improvement. You will have the ability to communicate with people at all levels and has a high level of attention to detail and strong IT skills.
