Description

A Senior Reward Manager is required to lead the reward function in delivering comprehensive specialist advice, guidance and support in the design of group wide reward policies and strategy. Your team will define, develop and ensure delivery of effective reward solutions and policies so that the key talent is attracted , retained and motivated to deliver high performance within the organisation. Key accountabilities will include:

Provide project management and reward consultancy in respect of group wide reward projects.
Provide comprehensive specialist advice to customers on the implications and interpretation of existing and emerging policies within reward.
Review recommendations for improvements to existing and emerging reward strategies, policies and procedures assessing benefits/risks of proposals submitted.
Commission, control and specify projects to research opportunities and develop strategies/policies within reward and in respect of specialist areas, including those resulting from internal/external change.
Lead the development of and improve the governance framework of the Defined Contribution Scheme and ensure effective and timely communication with members.
Proactively develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally in order to obtain/exchange information and where appropriate best practice.
Contribute to the budgetary process thereafter controlling the budget in the area.
Lead, motivate, develop and appraise team members so that the individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business.

The successful candidate will have a track record managing and leading teams of reward professionals within large complex organisations. A subject matter expert you will be able to demonstrate your reward knowledge, including legislation, and ability to manage senior stakeholders, influencing up to board level. You will have excellent project management skills, able to organises and control work using a range of techniques. You will be analytical with an ability to solve complex problems using a logical and structured approach. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that is changing and evolving.
