Description

Snr HR Manager
£55 to £60k + 15% bonus, 25 days, Medical, Pension etc
Essex

My client, a leading global financial institution is looking to hire an experienced Snr HR Manager. Reporting to the UK HR Director, this is an exciting but demanding role, which will play an important part in shaping and delivering the HR agenda in this large international company.

In this position you will work in consultation with business managers to ensure human capital activities are aligned with overall corporate and business unit priorities and to develop and implement change initiatives that positively impact business results. Working on a broad spectrum of complex people issues you will be able to apply your knowledge of employment law, the external work environment and HR best practice to drive positive employee relations across the business.

You will use your high level communication and influencing skills to coach, challenge and advise managers in relation to strategic change initiatives and people management/development initiatives; these include on-boarding, reward, performance and talent assessment. There will be a requirement for the successful applicant to facilitate face-to-face training and development sessions on key people leadership topics. Due to the global nature of our business this role will also need to collaborate on key initiatives with HR colleagues across the globe.

To be successful in this role candidates will possess proven leadership, project and change management skills gained in a multi site/matrix environment and a strong working knowledge of UK employment law. You will have the aptitude to manage conflicting priorities in a constantly changing environment and a natural urgency to deliver results.

You must be able to demonstrate a solid track record of delivery in HR, ideally in an organisation with a shared service HR model or call centre envirionment but this not essential. Your background is likely to be in a large Financial Services/International/multi site/matrix organisation.

In return for your energy and focus, you will get an excellent opportunity in our team to influence the value, delivery and status of HR in a global organisation.
