One of our major transport and logistics clients currently seek an adept Resource Manager to join their procurement team. This role is offered on a fixed term contract which will run for a minimum of 5 months. The Resource Manager will be based in central London but will maintain contact points from across the country. Responsibilities will include: Source, tender and negotiate value driven contract arrangements Undertake data collection activities to develop demand forecasts for each product/service Supply market analysis understanding trends and cost drivers Identify opportunities to improve the sourcing process Provide specialist advice and guidance to mitigate risks Relevant experience will include: Demonstrable understanding of Strategic Sourcing best practise Experience in supporting negotiation teams Strong Project Management skills Commercial track record in capital intensive, asset rich industries Please include current salary details - basic, bonus plus any benefits - when applying
