Are you a recruitment officer looking for an exciting and challenging role within a fantastic company?My client in Guildford have a fantastic opportunity to join them as a Student Recruitment Officer. They are the UK's longest-established specialist provider of legal education. This is a full time permanent role paying a salary of up to 29,500 which will be depending on experience.The Student Recruitment Officer will assist the Student Recruitment Manager with developing and implementing the regional strategy and achievement of student recruitment KPIs through:Account Management - building and maintaining client relationships within Universities, Schools and Colleges within a specific geographical region.Events Programme - the organisation and execution of an extensive regional events programme within Universities, Schools and Colleges and Centres aimed at attracting new students. The organisation and execution of a regional events programme targeted at existing students. Lead Generation - generating and converting leads to student recruitment targetsMain Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Student Recruitment Manager - develops and manages external client relationships: Primarily within Universities, Schools and Colleges engaging with key contacts including careers, subject tutors, law schools and student societies Assist the Student Recruitment Manager with event bookings and management Delivery of presentations and workshops at Universities, Schools and Colleges Attendance at careers fairs and other student recruitment events Supporting and attending Regional Business Development initiatives Support the Student Recruitment Manager with the organisation and briefing of staff, student ambassadors and Consultants attending events. Together with assisting with the promotion of events.Assist the Student Recruitment Manager with managing event metrics and feedback. Ensuring that data is consistently captured and recorded from all events. Gathering student and tutor feedback post events.What they are looking for...You must have gone to university as this will give you a greater understanding of the role. If you have had experience within student recruitment that would be ideal, however my client would welcome applicants that have other recruitment experience, events, account management or careers advisor positions. Presentation skills- Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to communicate with people on a one to one basis and when presenting at Events, while providing guidance and training to others on speaking in a clear, concise and compelling manner. Please note that:Flexibility in working hours will be required to meet the demands of the role. Willingness to travel is essential - driving licence and use of a car is advantageous for attending events There will be a requirement to work some evenings and occasional weekends. Time off in Lieu will be given for weekends and some evening at single time.
