This brand new Talent Development Manage role has been created by a UK based FTSE 250 global business. The Talent Development Manager represents a fantastic opportunity to work for a large and highly successful business to drive and develop their initiatives and policies on talent management, career development and succession planning across the UK and Europe.
-Based from the UK Head Quarters in Milton Keynes, taking the responsibility for the training and development plans, strategies and policies across Europe this role reports into the HR Director.
-To promote and sustain a clear talent pipeline across all areas of the business liaising with Regional HR Managers, General Managers as well as Third Party Providers.
- Liaising with and working in collaboration with Third Party Providers who write, develop and deliver training material. Reviewing and evaluating as appropriate.
-Delivery of training where necessary, this is a hands on, task orientated role.
-Develop and implement a management and leadership development programme for supervisors and middle management across the business. This will be in line with the Company's competency framework.
-Ensuring the performance and review processes are effective and implemented efficiently.
-Manage and lead the delivery of specific projects, ensuring the application of learning and development is beneficial to the business and offers a return on investment.
-Manage the Company's UK Apprenticeship Levy account to ensure effective utilisation of annual funds.
-You will have solid experience of developing, co-ordinating and delivering training programmes with a comprehensive appreciation of Talent Management best practice.
-Ideally you will have worked in Learning & Development or Talent Development across a wide geographical territory and multiple environments.
-You will have a hands on approach and will be task focused, with the ability to demonstrate how your initiatives have provided a return on investment to the business.
-You will be a natural rapport builder and will have experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
-Experience of working in a manufacturing sector and /or fluency in another European language is desirable, but certainly not essential.
