Be part of a life changing industry We are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team from Real Life Sciences, one of our main recruitment brands specialising in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences. You can believe us when we say that this job is not just about filling roles! You'll be a specialist placing experts who are part of the teams that develop new life changing drugs or medical devices. Each year, we find 5,000 pharma specialists new career opportunities and work with hundreds of medical devices, chemicals and FMCG clients across the world to find them the right people to support their growth. You'll start with a 12 week on-boarding plan which is tailored to your individual learning style to ensure that you get the best out of the training. During your first three months, you'll also get a full four day induction course which is highly interactive and supported by an advanced online training system. We pay a very competitive base salary to our Trainee Recruitment Consultants which has uncapped commission with no thresholds to work to. You will be rewarded everything you generate. Your basic salary rises with each promotion but will start from 20,000. You will be set clear targets from Day One to know how to progress towards achieving your goals. About the job Your job as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant will be to bring people working in the Life Science industry together building relationships and your network in the process. You'll be meeting clients and candidates frequently which means travel might be required. You'll also have the opportunity to attend industry get-togethers and organise your own events to demonstrate your knowledge as a market leader. In your role as Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll work with a blend of existing accounts so if you like building relationships, then this is the right job for you. You can also expect to make marketing calls to find out what your customers are looking for using the information you have gained from previous meetings. One of the great advantages of this role is that you own and control the complete end-to-end recruitment process which will include matching exciting roles with the right candidates, managing the interview process, helping the negotiations of the job offer and finalising the process. What skills are needed for the job? To be honest, there is no proven formula to what makes a great Recruitment Consultant. Sales experience isn't always needed to be a success; the desire to positively impact other people's lives and build something that you can be accountable for, is what is important. That's why for this particular role, we are looking for someone who has: a passion for Pharmaceuticals or Science - You might be a graduate not using your degree, or working in a lab and wish you had a job that needed more people interaction,strong customer service skills and an understanding of the value of building long term relationships,proven experience of achieving targets, ideally but not necessarily in a sales environment.
