Working for this large, nationally recognised engineering organisation, you will enjoy a broad, varied position working for a fast-paced and growing business. Amongst others, duties will include;
1. To provide advice, guidance and support to the functions on HR Strategy deployment
2. To assist the line management in developing and facilitating HR strategies which enhance
business performance
3. Monitor and manage the application of agreed Reward and Recognition policies within (phone number removed) customer areas to ensure it is applied fairly, consistently and effectively
4. Actively contribute and where appropriate lead ad hoc HR projects in support of the business objectives
5. To manage the relationship with the outsourced recruitment provider to ensure we work responsibly across business boundaries
6. Provide advice and guidance to customer areas on the interpretation and application of employment legislation and company policy in order to ensure compliance whilst facilitating delivery of business objectives.
You must be CIPD qualified or equivalent with a passion for taking ownership of your own personal development. You must also be able to demonstrate;
1. Awareness of cost and commercial aspects of the business
2. Ability to influence through effective negotiation
3. Demonstrate track record in delivery of HR service
4. Up to date Employment Law Knowledge
Previous experience in a similar generalist position is essential.
